At The Little Burrow Boutique, we carefully select every product we stock with one simple rule…
If we wouldn’t happily use it in our own enclosures, we won’t sell it. ✨
These beautiful Aspen Shavings quickly became a favourite in our burrow. Made from natural aspen wood, they provide a soft, comfortable substrate that supports natural digging, tunnelling and nesting behaviours while helping to keep enclosures fresh and dry.
Unlike many wood shavings, aspen is known for being low in dust and free from the strong aromatic oils found in some softwoods, making it a popular choice amongst hamster and small pet owners.
🌿 Made from natural aspen wood ☁️ Soft and comfortable under tiny paws 🏡 Encourages natural burrowing and tunnel building 💧 Highly absorbent to help keep habitats fresh ✨ Low dust for a cleaner enclosure environment 🐹 Suitable for hamsters, gerbils, mice and other small pets
One of the things we love most about Aspen Shavings is how beautifully they work as a natural base layer. Whether you’re creating an enchanted woodland, a cosy cottage burrow or a wild meadow inspired enclosure, they provide the perfect foundation for your little floof’s adventures.
Carefully chosen. Floof approved. From our burrow to yours. ✨
