BUCATSTATE Premium Protein Super Food | 500g

A luxurious, protein rich addition for hamsters and other small animals who deserve something extra special.

The BUCATSTATE Premium Protein Super Food is a beautifully varied blend featuring five types of insect protein alongside seeds, nuts, vegetables, fruits, herbs and botanicals. With more than 50 carefully selected ingredients, it brings irresistible texture, scent and variety to your small pets enclosure.

This is not intended to replace your pets usual complete, balanced staple food. Instead, use it as a premium complementary mix: sprinkle a small amount over their regular food, add it to a forage tray or scatter it throughout the enclosure to encourage natural searching and foraging behaviours. Hamsters should still receive a complete, balanced hamster diet as the foundation of their nutrition.

Why add protein to your hamsters diet?

Protein supplies amino acids used throughout the body and forms an important part of a balanced hamster diet. In appropriate amounts, dietary protein supports normal growth, muscle maintenance and healthy body tissues. A balanced hamster diet commonly contains approximately 15 to 20% protein, although individual requirements may vary with age, health and life stage.

This insect rich blend is especially useful for:

🪱 Adding tempting variety to a regular staple diet
🌿 Encouraging natural foraging and food searching behaviours
🐹 Providing an occasional protein rich treat or topper
✨ Supporting growing hamsters or those needing additional dietary variety, where appropriate
🤎 Creating an enriching scatter feeding experience
🥄 Hand feeding a few special pieces to encourage bonding

Five insect protein sources

The blend contains a varied selection of insect proteins, including:

• Mealworms
• Superworms
• Silkworms
• Insect pupae
• Black soldier fly larvae
